Frenzy

Today has been a day of frenzy -- weird kind of frenzy..

It actually started quite calm.. Had a bit of a lie-in, you guessed it, playing Candy Crush Saga on iPad, haha! Frenzy-ful game coz I'm stuck on a level. LOL
We decided to go visit Thrybergh Country Park as suggested by a friend. So off we went, me and Mr M and my baby C.

Pigeons galore!!!

Background story first:
More than a year ago, I asked Mr M to buy some duck eggs so I can make Leche Flan (a Filipino version of custard pudding). Instead of coming home with duck eggs, he came home with 3 teenage ducks! With the words "Now we won't need to buy eggs!" -- so funny! I wanted to make the pudding that day, now I had to wait for the ducks to grow up and lay eggs!
Anyhow, The male grew up to be Jumper, had ducklings with the wife, grew up (never did get any eggs tho!). But as I was to work at Blackpool Victoria Hospital, we had to let them loose at Manvers Lake. Went for a visit after few months, and found Jumper on his own.. Second and third visits were sad coz he was nowhere to be found...

Until we visited Thrybergh Park! He's here! Our Jumper: lost and found!, with his eyes seeming to say "I know you!" as he kept looking at us.. Mr M was all smiles!

Frenzy started when we left the park:
1st was the weather -- Sunny, cloudy, rain, hail! What's that about!
2nd was lunch at KFC -- lines going out the door, drive-thru cars curving down the bend and staff running around like headless chickens!
3rd was Morrison's -- people looked like they were panic-buying!
4th... my laundry! -- left outside coz it was sunny when we left home!

Oh well... At least it wasn't boring! Haha!
