Garden Spider ( Araneus diadematus )

I don't have a great knowledge of Spider or in fact any small insect, I am OK with things like Butterflies and Moths, smaller things have never really caught my interest.  So my identification is very tentative.

I went into the greenhouse and there seemingly floating in mid-air was this beastie.  So it was a quick about turn looking for a camera with a macro lens on.  The web was so fine that it really wasn't noticeable until I saw it on the photo.  Obviously, it was there but detail was hard to see.
