Tilly

Having been a dog and house sitter in the recent past my name was given to a lady who goes away a few times a year and she had phoned me to arrange a time to meet her and the dogs! Today was the day and she picked me up and took me to her house! She has two King Charles spaniels of whom Tilly is one.

She is a rescue dog who had spent her first four years in a puppy farm producing puppies! It has taken two years for her to learn to trust humans and be comfortable and she has just now started to play with Toby who she had from being a puppy!

Sadly Tilly has a heart problem which could be due to interbreeding. Tricia their owner has always had King Charles spaniels and having reassured herself that the dogs like me she asked me whether I could maybe look after them at Christmas and new year! Time will tell. The only down side is that it is once again away from my area and not by the sea! Upside is a beautiful house and garden with bird feeders!
