Ice cream treat
There was a quite a bit of lawn bowls, netball, weightlifting, boxing and judo coverage at the Games this morning - none of which interest me. Then I realised that the new episode of ‘Better Call Saul’ was available, sorry - it had ‘dropped’ - so I watched that. I so look forward to each episode, but it’s the last one next week. But I did watch a couple of amazing badminton and squash games, as they’re getting to the semis and the finals.
JR went to two gym sessions, and Denise came to take Archie out, so that was great.
In the afternoon, my senior physiotherapist rang to see how I’d been getting on with the physio sessions these past six months, and was there improvement? Well, no… So, she’ll contact the head honcho neurologist, and he’ll ring me for a chat and decide next steps…
JR had gone out and so Archie and I went into town on the bus - I thought there might be some action in the Mile, but the Fringe hasn’t started, so the daft folk in silly costumes aren’t there yet, just the usual fire jugglers and ‘magicians’.
We stopped for an ice cream - yes, he did get a wee bit - and walked home. I was puggled, so sat on a bench in the Meadows and read my book for a wee while. It was warm, but windy. I think the wind was coming from the Sahara.
