A Couple of Naked Ladies

Happy Summer all!  My Blipfoto went "dark" after my 100th entry, coincidentally the last photo I took in Italy.  After being gone nearly 3 months, it's taken some time to get back into the  new routine  of being back home.  I decided I'd get back to blipping and posting on the 1st of the following month, but  July came and went, and I rarely picked up my camera.  Finally the first of August, today, I had to get back to it.  After 100 photos focusing on my travels, it seems a nice balance to start blipping in my own back yard.  A friend gave me some monstrous looking Amaryllis belladonna bulbs last year, and these lovely ladies are blooming for the first time in my yard.   I'm not a fan of the overdone light pink naked ladies, but this deep magenta strain is magnficent.
