A Scary Birthday!

James is 7 today and on his request, we went to the London Dungeon. I wasn't quite sure how scary it would be and so checked if there were any age restrictions. There weren't, but I certainly wouldn't recommend it for any younger than James! In fact he was the youngest there today.

You take an historical tour of London's more gruesome past and really 'live' the experience, as there are actors around every corner in character. It's incredibly well done and because of this I did wonder at times if James would be ok as he held on to my hand more and more tightly as we went round, especially in the very dark sections.

But we survived and when we came out he was over the moon that he had done it and was merrily recalling his favourite bits.

At the beginning we all had our photo taken... me and Mark in the stocks with Amy and James poised to behead us! It was such a good photo we had it made into 2 key rings... seen here at the end.
