Worcester Cathedral

We went into town this morning, primarily to buy bread and a bit of veg.  There's a very good fruit and veg shop off High Street, though we haven't found a bakery yet, other than M&S Food Hall, but would prefer an independent one.   During the course of our outing we had two suggestions in regards to a bakery, so next time we'll give Marks a miss.

It was now coffee time so we went to House of Coffee near Cathedral Square where we were met by Jo and her daughter.   In the extra I've added a pic of a stone that E painted.  It's part of the Worcestershire 'Love on the Rocks' Facebook thing I think.  The idea being that one paints a stone and leaves it to be found.  A nice idea.

After lunch we went to Worcester Cathedral. Ann wanted some books on the place so dived into the shop whilst I took a look around and, of course,  took some photos.  It is an amazing place and no matter how many times we visit it is awe inspiring.  The main picture is of the pulpit.  After a while we regrouped and had a cuppa at the Cloisters Cafe.
