Day one of holiday today.  The boys did some horse riding this morning, the weather was a bit rubbish but it didn't dampen the experience.  Ben's horse was called Betty and his brother's was Millie.  They were very gentle and patient and the lady leading Ben's horse was really sweet with him, indulging his singing and chatting about capital cities.  The rest of the day has been a bit of a challenge though, Ben has been very agitated and quick to react. He's been so excited about coming on holiday and we have returned to a place we've been before, aiming to create calm and predictability but it seems to be causing him high anxiety today.  We're wondering if it's medication levels, he's 13 and constantly growing and continually infused with hormones, so it's often hard to pinpoint the cause of stress :-/ Hopefully there will be a good night's sleep tonight and a better day tomorrow :-)
