Long journey..

M6, diversion, 
route circuitous and slow.
Car, car, person box.

Busy day getting things ready for holiday. Ben was up at 4:20 in the general excitement of it all :-/ 
The traffic was awful, we had to come off the M6 to travel parallel for a while. The mood in the car was low until we made up the "name the next oncoming vehicle" game. Things perked up dramatically! The excitement was palpable when it became, "car, car, car, van, lorry, car, car, car....TRACTOR." Anything that kept us sane (ish) during the 2 hours delay.  We may have become less sane when discussing Horse Boxes and whether there was a Human equivalent..... Looking forward to the week ahead though :-D
