Prepare for take off
I finished packing, this morning: I really struggle to pack until I'm actually about to, although today it was only as far as Salford. I had a coffee out on the decking with Dan before he went to work and then popped my head 'round Abi's door to see how she was feeling before I set off.
A bit of work and a guitar lesson during the day, and then I went down to the Old Pint Pot for a pre-holiday pint with Yoss, and then Hannah joined us and the three of us went down to Porta for a bite to eat.
I took today's photo on my way to the office, when I stopped to let this guy out onto Chapel Street. Machines like these remind me a lot of 'Thunderbirds' and whenever I see something like it, I wonder whether Gerry Anderson was extremely prescient or if, in fact, he influenced a whole generation of designers. I'd like to think the latter, of course!
