More beaches

Another lovely day. Had a slow start, with pancakes and billiards (extras) and hot tub time and chat, then left A&N to read books and chill whilst we headed to Holt for a present for Otis and some ice cream, then on to Cromer for some beach play time (so much easier when the waves are nearby!), fish and chips and a wander along the very windy pier! We managed to get some things for AR in a sale, and a folding chair for Kt with a spotty dog design (obvs!) which was also in the sale, and after a good wander we headed home. More hot tub time with Pimms before a humongous dinner trying to use up leftovers….courgette pasta, salads, garlic bread, summer pudding and cream. Once again all quite tired so although we played ‘Name 3 things’ for a while we didn’t manage any of the other games.
As always on holiday we talked about what we’d do differently when we get home and I realised I’d be making the biggest change by not going back to work! Had to renew my car insurance and for the first ever time clicked ‘retired’ in the employment status box….felt odd!
P seems to be doing ok on the cardiology ward but no real news on next steps….
