Pomona Cottage Garden

Situated on Pomona Road in beautiful leafy Stirling, Pomona Cottage is a fabulous garden. It is an award-winning formal garden where English box hedges, stone walls and steps lend definition to the garden which hosts a dazzling array of flowers and beautiful autumn foliage.

Landscaped on five levels, themes include a secret garden, rose parterre, rotunda and Japanese water garden with cascades and pools.

One special feature is the Debutante camellia hedge growing along the front of the property. My photo was taken in the rear garden, showing a broad vista of trees and shrubs.

More autumn colour.

Stirling is famous for its autumn colour at this time of year and next weekend we will be attending the Stirling Autumn Garden Festival. These Stirling blips are specially being shot for our friend Spikes who used to live in this area at one time.
