Storm in the Valley

I saw plenty of good scenes that would make good photos, and there were plenty of places to stop, they just never seemed to coincide. So I waited until we arrives in Crested Butte to take my photo. Unfortunately, when we turned up the valley, we drove straight into a storm. Everything was grey, grey and other grey.

Met up with C for dinner to start our long weekend of playing in the winter playground town. Excellent start to what is going to be an excellent weekend.

Andy drove from the restaurant through the biggest, fattest snowflakes I've ever seen. It looked just like the inside of a snow-globe. Beautiful...but not very safe for driving!
