To get in time for the ferry....

...is not the easiest thing.

Three extras today!

We left Kolobrzeg at 1 PM, the ferry should leave at 6 PM from Gdansk, 250 km down the road. That's a good marginal I thought. I had planned and checked the traffic and chose one of three roads to follow, a fast one, which should take us 3 hrs. But as you know, the map and reality do not always coincide. The fast roads were all shut down for construction works. No signs, no nothing. Detours were not marked. The worst road was the only alternative - I'm familiar with that road since before. Estimated time for arrival 5 hours which equals with the ferry leaving. We made it with only 5 minutes of margin. They shot the door behind us even before we had tied the bike... But I got my beer at the sun deck as a compensation for the hard labour on the road, so what was the problem in the end?!
