Parched

A quiet day yesterday, no inspiration, and for the first time for ages I missed my blip. So this morning I pulled myself together and took myself out in the car to look for a photo.
I drove to a little wrought iron bridge over the River Mole, hoping to see the dried up river bed, we still have had no rain. There were a few puddles, but it was obscured by overhanging trees and no good for a picture. I carried on up the rough track. I think it is a private road! I was passing through farmland with lovely views across the valley of the River Mole. Everywhere is parched, and I am sure the farmer must be supplementing these cows with extra feed because there is not much nourishment to be seen here. I trundled on through fields (extra) and woodland and eventually emerged in a quite unexpected location!
It was so good to get out, I should do it more often.
