The honeymooners
Today we said goodbye to the adorable A and E who have spent a couple of nights with us whilst on their honeymoon. Coming all the way from Groote Eylandt in the Gulf of Carpenteria off north eastern Australia, the Languedoc probably couldn't have been more different. But we did our best to make their visit memorable.
We went to the wonderful market in Agde to buy olives, saucisson, cheeses, ham, coeur de boeuf tomatoes, peppered garlic, artisanale bread and garriguette strawberries. Called in at Le Couvent to feast on the goodies, siesta'd in La Caumette and had a magnificent supper at L'Auberge de Combes up in the mountains of the Caroux.
Now they are in Marseille for the next adventure. Glassroad, the groom's mum, we toasted you!
