A break in the rain

Another rainy day in the Peaks, this time with added wind and cooler temperatures. There was only one thing for it: The High Peak Bookstore and Cafe. Yes please. A delightful hour of browsing followed by a Buxton Fog and a bit of lunch. I was hugely restrained and only bought six books. Defo eyed a few more up for our next visit.

Thankfully the rain had cleared up by the time we got back so I had a quick blast up our most local Ethel. Bit breezy up top, but good to get a little hill running in the bag. The Dragon’s Back was looking super tempting so hopefully I can give that a go when the weather actually improves.
