Enforced rest

I did say that a rest was needed, but I think that’s enough rest now!

A very (for me) late lie-in, followed by a little run down the High Peak Trail. Nice to be back, as a little chunk of my marathon training was done here last year. Glad I went for a run when I did as it hasn’t stopped raining since. We sheltered in the local pub for lunch, did a food shop and then came back for some enforced rest. At this rate I’m going to hurtle through a book a day. So restful was the day that I even managed a little nap. Thoroughly indulgent. We even resorted to a word game while the rain lashed around us.
