White-letter Hairstreak

I was really surprised and delighted to find this White-letter Hairstreak butterfly in our garden this morning.  It kept landing on our lawn and I think it was looking for raindrops to drink.  I was even more surprised when it flew towards me, landed on my camera and then walked onto my finger where it remained for a couple of minutes before flying off.  It is more usual to see these through binoculars high up in the tree canopy so to find one on the ground was a real treat.
