Oven

Back in January we replaced the broken window ovens in the kitchen. There’s a top and bottom oven combination and, while they both worked heating up food, some of the facings were broken. We don’t know how old there were because they were here when we moved in and were not new in 2013. 

The top oven is an oven/microwave combination. The microwave isn’t as powerful as the last one but it does the job. That was installed pretty quickly. The main oven, however, required some adjustment to the electrics that I don’t think either PY or I could explain. That work wasn’t completed for a few weeks but when it was, and the new oven installed, it all looked great.  So by mid-February we had a fully functioning oven combination in the kitchen.  

However, we’ve only used the main oven once when Christine & David were here a few weeks ago. This is only the second time we used it and - I think - it’s cooking exactly the same parsnip fries as the last time.  I wonder if it’s really needed?
