Water feature

A visit to family by train is the first long distance journey this year and, according to rules, was spent outside in the sunshine.  In the garden there’s a small pond with a little bridge to cross from one side. If the bridge wasn’t there I am sure you’d be able to step across as it’s more of an ornamental feature than a useful piece of infrastructure.  There used to be real fish in the pond but they seem to have gone. But there are a couple of fountains and ornamental fish spouting water. The sound of the water is remarkably soothing. When combined with the heat of the sun and good company it made for a lovely afternoon.
