Stop it and tidy up (diary blip)

We've had a tidying up day today - hence the diary blip(s)
Took the motorhome to a local body shop for a repair to the scratch I inflicted on it last year.
Spent the rest of the morning with the Keep Kineton Beautiful group,  tidying around the duck pond.  Yes it does have a duck house,  no, its not funded by an MP's expenses :-)
In the afternoon we did some sorting in the garage.  Gill has wanted, for years, to replace some surplus kitchen base units we were given with shelving, I was not so keen - but fair dos - she was quite right.  (See extra)
We even palmed off some spare tools to a neighbour and the old base units have gone onto the village FB group for recycling.

Full disclosure - the main blip is one of Gill's record shots,  I was over on a bend in the road clearing sight lines, as the overgrowth was causing a few problems for people driving and anyone walking on the footpath was not in a very safe space.  In an ideal world the local council would have the budget to deal with this sort of thing ... sadly, they don't but we are fortunate to have a bunch of irritatingly active retirees who like playing working with big, noisy sharp things, obviously, in a safe, inclusive non-judgemental manner :-)
