As we seldom see our friends D and J  who live about 300 miles away we were delighted that they were able to join us for a walk during their visit north.  We had a picnic at Yellowcraig on some rocky outcrops beside these windblown pines which seem to be a suitable subject for Bobsblips “plant, flower or tree” challenge.
