The Echinops 'Artic Glow' are in full flower and surprisingly are attracting not bees but lots of wasps (another in extras). I'm happy that they are being visited and a source of nectar. I'm also surprised to see the little blue and white spikes on the flowers, I thought it was just a pretty white flower. Isn't it interesting what you see when you study an item more closely.
No sign of the amber warning thunderstorms forecast so far, the poor gardens are desperately in need of a good soaking, something I can't do with a watering can.
There was evidence (poo) of the Badger having been in the garden this morning. I'm surprised Luna didn't hear it as it left a 'present' on the outside door mat!! Time to get the batteries recharged for the trail camera and set up to see just what is coming into the garden overnight considering all the gaps in fences and hedges have been stopped up.
