Peerie Piglets

A lovely calm day, mostly sunny, and hit summer temperatures of 23⁹c, summer at last! Sadly our taste of warmth didn't last, thunder storms came too, and some heavy rain.  This summer sure has been unfair to us in the north at every turn.

While out walkies this morning, a quick shower hit, and the rain was warm(er).  Nipped into Madeline's, and then headed down to Laura's before work.  A late shift in the airport again.  I've mostly been meeting and boarding flights, with spells on the check-in desk.  Aberdeen was heavily delayed, and a late finish again.  Feet up now.

Before heading to Laura's, I thought I'd check to see if I could see the piglets, hurrah, I did.  Mammy pig was busy sunbathing, along with the other pigs and older piglets.  As I glanced over the field, I caught my eye on six peerie piglets hiding from the world.  They did come charging out for a look, but they were quick, and with the hottest day ever for them, they soon zoomed back under the old trailer.  It wasn't long before they snuggled up, and all fell asleep together.  Super cute, hope to see them closer up next time.  Taken at Mid Voxter, Cunningsburgh.
