A day with the walking group

At last we got to do our July walk, having had our plans thwarted by rain on every other attempt. We walked the Oatley Park, a suburb not so far away but I'd never walked through this area of mangrove swamps and angophora forest, high above the Georges River. The two bits of modest waterfront real estate in my main appealed to me. There is no road access to them but many cormorants on the jetty. My extra shows a Sydney red gum (angophora costata).

And what happened as soon as I got back to the car? Yes, it bucketed down raining.
