Street reflections...

...and the dinosaur in the Old Curiosity Shop. They do, indeed, stock some very curious and strange items!

The heatwave is here, and temperatures here topped 32° in the late afternoon. Never imagined that I'd need to employ my umbrella as a sunshade in north Northumberland, but I did this morning when we had coffee outside!

My new summer dressing-gown arrived with the post this morning. A perfect fit except for the sleeves, which were predictably way too long and needed shortening, my job for the afternoon. Also nipped out to the chemists for my prescription, which hadn't arrived, which meant navigating through the surgery's newly set up prescription ordering phone line...
