Face coverings still mandatory on public transport in Italy, and they were pretty strict about it on the boat buses...perfectly polite about it but, you know, a few folk looked like they might be in danger of being chucked overboard if they continued to transgress. 

So, checked out of our place, boat down to Piazzale Roma to drop off the luggage and then a wander around to grab a bit of breakfast, take a couple more boat rides and then have some lunch before collecting the luggage and getting the bus to Treviso for our flight home. An hour delay, a last espresso, a last beer, two hour twenty minutes in the air, and we were back in Edinburgh and back at ours where our friend Jenny was waiting and the Chinese had already arrived. 

Drink and chat and catch-up ensued
