Flight of fancy!

Caught this beautiful Grey Heron getting ready to take off, took about 7 shots ( from take off to full flight) and this one is my favourite, was walking along the Forth & Clyde Canal when out of the corner of my eye I spotted it, stopped, looked at it for a moment.. Thinking it's going to fly away ( as they mostly do, being shy creatures) nothing happened, got camera out, changed lens ( all the while its getting nervous)I turn on Camera, remove lens cap, check settings, move camera to my eye... It brings down it's neck, legs bend... I'm ready, now Im willing it to go, then after a few seconds ( seamed like minutes) it starts to take off, seeing this bird through the zoom lens taking off was Amazing! So glad I was at the right place and at the right time ( Lucky or what?) lol
