Been a very busy day helping my friend with his guitar repairs ( I was sweeping up & putting logs in his wood burning stove) then we went to Tesco's to buy a Thermal Flask ( we're going to Glencoe on Saturday with his Family) we got to talking about religion ( as you do) inside the store, he decided to buy vegetables to make soup for our Glencoe journey, still debating religion & standing in the isles like a couple of hobos ( dirty faces & clothes from the workshop tidy & wood burning stove maintenance) the shop workers looking at us suspiciously and no doubt the CCTV cameras locked onto us! We slowly manoeuvred around the shelves collecting the vegetables, then he asks, what I thought about baptising, should it be full Immersion ( like the baptists and others do) or just a sprinkle like others do... Mmmm! I said, Full Immersion ( with a convicted and serious voice, ( thinking, Ive got him now) oh yeah & how did you come to that conclusion, because ( he says) I don't think it really matters, I said, I'm 100 % sure it's the whole body dunked under the water, ok smart ar** how do you know ( with a smirk on his face... Because I saw in that TV show in the 80's Jesus of Nazareth.. Silence, I was waiting on his reply, we both looked at each other, our smiles began to get bigger & bigger then loud bursts of laughter as The penny dropped... I saw it on TV no Biblical evidence at all, just saw it on TV.. And they say that Television has no influence haha!
Well that was then end of that debate!

So we go get the Flask( remember, that's what we came for) at the check out, he decides to quickly run for bread, I pack all his vegetables & doggie snacks into a carrier bag, he returns ( still looking at me with a shaking head & smiling about the TV thing) pays the young lady, I look at him & smile back ( as I know Im going to get this flung back at me for years to come) and we leave.

On returning home, he says, did you ( me) put the flask in the boot of the car, I look at him, think about it, No You had the flask, I had the carrier bag!

Yip, too much laughter causes Senior moments. We left it behind lol

Never mind, tomorrow's another day eh!
