Yet another brood

Why this young Blackbird had been left out in the open, when its parents are usually so careful to leave them hidden in the hedgerows around the garden, I don't know. But then it looks big enough to be finding its own way about. I was a bit concerned that there was something wrong, but when I went back into the house Dad came along with something for the youngster to eat.

Hot today, but only relative - we managed 29degrees, paltry compared with what is happening in other places, but too hot for me. A good thing that I had been practising sitting in the cool of the house - sewing, reading etc.
