I thought I would pick some of my garden flowers before the heat spoils them.   On the left Godetia, the seeds kindly given to me by a blip friend and the Dahlias and Cosmos have all survived from last summer although the Dahlias seem to be much smaller this year.
We were out for our walk at 6.30 this morning but even by then it was hot so we didn't go too far.    We've had a lazy day with Luna laying on the cool kitchen tiles with a gentle, if warm, breeze running through and dozing for most of it.    The extra shows the temperature recorded on my phone during the afternoon.     It's now 33 degrees so I think we could be in for a restless night.
