Heatwave

Today temperatures went through the roof, with the thermometer reaching 36 degrees by 5pm.

It's a sign of bad times when even sunflowers start struggling in the heat! Despite watering them everyday and mulching recently, these dwarf 'Little Leo' sunflowers haven't been happy.

I may have to try another sowing as seeds will germinate in next to no time at the moment.
