River Teme

Blipped whilst cycling out to the hilly ParkRun in Mortimer forest on the Shropshire/Hertfordshire border. The water level was very low and weed growth high, I could see a few minnows searching around for food near the edge and some larger unidentified fish were taking something off the surface further out.
After a very warm short 22 minute run and 9th place again I cycled the 14 miles back to base.
After a quick shower and breakfast I loaded the car and headed home to North Devon via Hereford, Monmouth and the Wye valley. An oil spillage on the M5 in Somerset slowed my journey but I arrived safely in one piece.
