Still trying to track down one hoe, the other one has been located and I picked it up this afternoon. Then I decided to go for a walk on the Dartmouth waterfront.
I'm starting to plan a weekend trip again. There is a long weekend coming up in 2 weeks and I am going on an overnight trip .I don't think I will tell some of the ones at brunch that I am going away. 
One of the ones that goes to brunch every week expects me to sit beside her every week. Over the past few months she always starts ranting about politics or immigrants or covid, and I get tired of hearing it. You can't carry on a conversation with her because she has to be right, and doesn't want to listen to any other point of view.
Sometimes if we are set up with 4 or 6 people per table I will deliberately sit down at another table just so I can talk to other people. Today when people started coming in, the tables were set up with 8 and 12 people at each. M insisted that they be pushed together, then saved an end chair for me. One of her pals sat directly across from the chair M had saved for me. I felt isolated there today, since M & D were the only ones that I could really talk to. 
On another note, 50 years ago today I went on my first airplane ride with my parents. We flew to Edmonton where my brother met us, then drove us to Fort McMurray where he was living.
