Walking the Dog

Ruby was at the wheel for a bit of extra practice as she drove us to the tearoom where she works. 
It’s located at Bolton Abbey and Rebecca has a pass so we parked up and took the walk to Barden Bridge while it was cool and mostly under trees.
Ronnie has just learned the doggie paddle so enjoyed retrieving sticks from the river.
We came home and for the rest of the afternoon Rebecca was doing taxi duties to accommodate the girls ever increasing social lives.
Evening now and we are eating outside as it’s perfect weather for a bit of alfresco dining.
I took the opportunity to have a sit in the new egg chair, l may not be smiling but l am happy .
