Japanese Anemone

It’s that time of the year, I only spotted one bee just now, in a few weeks it should be buzzing.

A warm day with a breeze, perfect for working outside. My jobs are picking soft fruit, mostly black currants and strimming. John has spent the week painting window frames, we can’t decide which is the most tedious job though, picking and cleaning black currants or painting. Both jobs are necessary and we will benefit long term.
