Ready, steady…

Here we all are at the Moot Hall in Keswick about 10 minutes before Sarah set off on her Bob Graham Round. D is organising the food and drink for the pacers (Ben, Toby and Andrew) to carry for her, giving Sarah her poles and spare clothing and making sure she starts her live tracker. The tracker seems to have some technical issues which we are trying to sort, but we can do without it.

After a day of waiting around, it’s wonderful that she is on her way. We are now waiting around again, with Pete and Robert who are pacers on future stages, drinking tea and telling stories. Next road crossing is at just past 11pm and then it’s Dunmail Raise in the wee small hours of the morning, Wasdale at 9am and Honister after 2pm. If all goes well, we will all be back at the Moot Hall around 6pm tomorrow.
