Exhaust-ed
Well that was an epic journey.
We left the Dordogne area of SW France at 9.30 yesterday and drove and drove and drove all the way home! We arrived home about 1.30 am , about 17 hours allowing for the time difference. We swapped driving and didn’t feel too tired so just carried on. We had a flexible ticket for the tunnel so could just turn up and go.
We didn’t have any major home crises like infestations of flies or anything this time, just foot high lawn and lots of dead vegetables ( although these wild flowers are doing well ).
However
When we swapped drivers at Oxford services the Motorhome was making a fiendish rattling noise. We think it’s a loose exhaust bracket but it hasn’t been looked at yet. We really didn’t want to have to be recovered home at one in the morning but luckily we made it home. It will be dealt with as soon as we can arrange it.
Thank goodness it didn’t go wrong on holiday.
