A wildlife Blip again...

I put some peanuts out on the deck to try to attract the squirrels - they just scurry past but I thought food might make them hold still for a few seconds. 

Anyway, a pine marten appeared instead and ate the lot. 

They are quick too, but stay relatively still when eating. It was only 5m away. 

My main event today was a sweaty hike through the forest to Nethy Bridge for coffee and cake. A good way to spend the afternoon.
