Day 5 of my escape Up North…

It has been busy, but in a relaxed kind of way. I did my Couch-to-5k session in the morning, so that completes week 2. 

In the afternoon I walked through the forest to the Loch Garten Nature Centre - it is only a mile from here - to see the ospreys. Mother and chicks were captured on the webcam, and were also clearly visible through the telescope. The father had gone fishing, as dads do. There is a trout farm within easy flying distance and it guarantees a good supply of food in the nest. 

The Blip is the mother, from a great distance obviously.
