"got my feet on the ground"

What a difference to last Saturday!!

The weather is just as nice, but instead of being 10,000ft up and voluntarily throwing myself out of a plane in a tandem skydive, I was keeping my feet firmly on the ground today! haha!

After a late night last night, I had a very lazy morning. It took me a long time to get the energy to go into town and collect my belongings from work that I left behind yesterday, but it was worth it because as I walked back I got distracted by the farmer's market in the city centre and picked up some more traybake loveliness from 'Storm Cakes'!!

It was a lovely surprise to then end up spending the rest of the afternoon with a very close friend before they left Dundee for the summer. They should feel priviledged that I allowed them to watch the video of the skydive - it's not pretty and certainly not for public display! Maybe in their hungover state from the night before they won't remember any of it! haha!

After our usual giggle and laughter filled chit chat, we walked back into town and 104 steps (!!!) later I was made a cup of tea without even having to ask! Now this was a first!! haha! But it was perfect as always! :)

It was lovely to spend time with them before the summer - it's going to be a very long 4 months without them! :( Maybe they will come and visit me!
