Burdock

This morning we went to Elvington to set up Mrs madwill’s stall ready for a weekend of trading at the ‘Priory Patchwork Group’ quilt show. The trade stands, tombola, raffle and, more importantly the catering, are all in the village hall with the quilts on display in the church, just up the road. Hoping that the good weather will draw the crowds!!

Called in to Monks Cross for a coffee and brunch plus a few bits and bobs from Boots!

I popped out for a walk this afternoon and found loads of this ‘Greater Burdock’ in flower along the hedgerow. I liked this shot with the spiky shadow behind.
