We've had an exhausting day. Or so it feels.

Walked through Cann Wood on our way to Burrator Reservoir. Lots of ponies, sheep and cows on the roads and lots of water for Hetty to splash through. 

Very warm again. 

The Battle of Roundway Down was fought, and won by the Royalists, this day in 1643. 

Clive's mum died 2 years ago today. We are one of those families that could not be with a dying parent due to covid.  We will never get that time back, never had the opportunity for goodbyes and will always feel we let her down.
