The Day Before

Packed and all ready to go; it's finally beginning to feel real. Early morning start tomorrow to catch the bus to Heathrow and meet Pete. Then twelve hours of flying over Russia - at least the weather forecast is looking good (in Japan, not sure about Russia).

We went to Cox's Yard by the river for coffee, as the weather was reasonable, only to find the café is closed for refurbishment. So we went back to our usual haunt, but in the meantime I took some photos around the canal basin. This magnolia tree was looking magnificent in the sun so is the subject of today's blip.

Watch out for a Roz type shot - people waiting in the departure lounge - tomorrow; always supposing I can find enough internet somewhere to upload a pic.
