A Summer's Day
We have not had the sweltering heat people are experiencing “ down south” with temperatures hovering around 30C. In fact in Scotland it’s been a comfortable 22C.
So after morning yoga on zoom, like so much these days, I moved out to the patio and enjoyed another day reading.
Meanwhile M is busy again as a volunteer guide at the Burrell collection in Glasgow. It amazes me that in this heat people are happy to go around museums (perhaps because it’s cooler inside).
I have yet to visit since it reopened after six years of refurbishment because I am waiting for the crowds to subside. From all accounts people like it despite some earlier reservations that it might be dumbed down in order to make it more accessible to the general public.
This has not happened fortunately.
