Day 2

I really didn't want to get up this morning as I was tired but I needed to be in for 8 a.m. to ensure that everything ran smoothly for the opening talk of the day.

I had lots to do in my normal day job but ended up spending most of my time at the conference. Had to deal with one particular annoying academic giving a PhD student an unfair hard time. That's not how it should be. The evening finished with a barbecue, for me the meat wasn't cooked enough, headed home quite early as I was stressed I had a talk to prepare for Thursday in Wales.
