Mist Free Evening

Thick fog this morning in Scalloway, clear on the east, thick in the south.  Finally cleared into a fine evening, but still overcast. 

I didn't sleep well last night, and then into an early shift in the airport.  As expected with the mist, no flights made it in or out today, apart from tonight.  A mad day on the check-in, sorting everyone's onwards travel, which is a hard task when most flights are already full, but we got through it.  Met up with friend Julie for walkies this evening.  Early to bed again tonight.  

Scalloway was mist free when I arrived home, and then mist started rolling in from the east.  My mission tonight was to snap some atmospheric shots of the mist rolling down the hills, but by the time I arrived, it had almost vanished.  I did make it in time to snap this small misty patch clearing from the Clift Hills.  Taken from Scorifield, Papil, Burra.
