Sunday: The Local

K and I are great walkers when on holiday.  In our opinion it’s the best way to get a feel of somewhere.  We were up and out early so walked along the boarded waterfront to the Farmers’ Market at pier 23.  It wasn’t huge so we went from there to the ‘Canadian Museum of Immigration’.  We took the citizenship to see if we would pass.  And we would!

We discovered a fabulous old cemetery from the late 1700s and then walked up to the Public Gardens.  They feel very English and have lots of Victorian details, such as statues and bandstands.

We detoured, via the Entertainment District, before heading back to our accommodation for a bit of rest.  And then out to some microbreweries, ‘Propeller’ and ‘Tusket Falls’.  We also stopped for something to eat at the excellent ‘Local’ - we were enticed in by the music.

A few extras in…….erm……..extras.
