Birkwood Hospital

I'm not blipping very consistently at the moment - partly because of covid and not doing very much and partoy because house stuff is actually happening.  All being well we'll have the keys in three weeks time.  I'm starting to get a tiny bit excited and just hoping that everyone in the chain is doing what they need to do. Pretty scary handing in the notice to the landlord this week.

We had a trip down to Lesmahagow today to check out our hopefully new town and suss out some walks etc.  It was really nice and looks like they will be more variety of walks than where we are now and it's a similar distance to the farm shop, so all good.  Stumbled across this building on our walk which reminded me of the Mansion back in St Ives quite a bit, and once home realised it had a very similar history too (private residence, turned hospital).  Unfortunatley, a sale to turn it into a hotel feel through and it is now being demolished due to disrepair.

Met a woman in the farm shop who recognised out Keelham Farm bags and who used to live in Haworth - small world!
